About Me

Even as a young child, I always had an interest in exploring the messy realms of clay. Growing up in Cyprus I have vivid memories of visiting a pottery and watching them throw pots and being interested in the process of them throwing on the potters wheel.

I always struggled at school academically and art became my focus and passion. When I started college studying art, this allowed me to explore clay as a medium and I was hooked. I went to UWE in Bristol and graduated with a BA Hons in ceramics.

After university and travelling, I shared a studio space with a university friend. I stopped working with clay for a number of years when my two boys came along and focused on being a mother.

Once my boys were settled in school and with my passion for ceramics still very much alive, I set up a pottery studio in my garden, 3 years ago.

Make Bristol on East Street, stock my work and I am currently working on a collection to put on Etsy. I also do work at primary school level on a one-to-one bases for children that need a creative outlet.
